Looking Back
Every year Yates Contracting takes time to reflect on past projects, employees, and partnerships. This year is no different. The relationships we’ve built as a company within the contracting industry have truly helped shape what Yates Contracting has become. For that, we thank you.
Last year we introduced Yates Contracting to social media and started an Instagram page during the third quarter. It did so well, we then incorporated Facebook during the fourth quarter and began earning followers right away on both social media platforms. By offering information about our services and showcasing photos of residential remodeling jobs, we’ve earned the trust and respect from our peers, clients, and onlookers alike.
In 2017, we established and grew our business relationships too. One of our favorite plumbers is Evan Stauffer of My Favorite Plumber. His responsiveness to our requests and flexibility when it comes to scheduling is state of the art and why we continue to partner with him when we have remodeling jobs involving plumbing needs. We love that he’s located out of Raleigh, NC because this is where some of our business comes from too. It’s no wonder he has a five-star rating on his Facebook page!
We also met one of our favorite “go-to’s” for electrical work in 2017. Dennis Zaccagnini of Clear Light Electric continues to assist us with remodeling jobs when we’re dealing with voltages of 600 or less. Time and time again, Dennis has proven to be a solid partner with us both in and around the Triangle area of North Carolina. When electrical help is necessary, we know we can count on him.
Last year we also began partnering with Down To Earth Designs. This company has an incredible knack for all things outdoor. Pools, exterior builds, patios, pool houses, outdoor hardscapes. You name it, they have what’s needed here.
Let’s not forget about our trusted employees who’ve been here day in and day out. Our carpenters, through the snow, rain, and sunshine, Jason, Matt, and Vince are here. Their craftsmanship, coupled with their continued loyalty and support, truly makes a difference in the work we continue to successfully deliver. Jennifer, our office manager, came on board with us in the last quarter of 2017, and has proven to be a huge asset to our clients, and to our office.
It’s pretty amazing to think that when this company started in 2008, it was a guy and a dream. Today, Cameron, (our esteemed owner) has grown what once was a one man operation, into a thriving company that not only offers consumers reasonably cost-effective remodeling solutions, but also offers a respectable living for his employees as well.
Looking Ahead
Half way into January and all this excitement already!
We’ve intensified our social media portfolio by adding a few more social media platforms. You can now find us, like what you see, share our posts, and follow us on Google+ and Twitter. In case you haven’t gotten enough of us, you can also find us on Google My Business too. Knowing our audience is important, which is why we encourage and love to see the follows on Facebook, or the comments on Instagram, or even the share on Twitter.
Most recently we’ve incorporated a Google Review link as well. If you’re so inclined, feel free to leave us a quick review and be entered in a drawing to win a $150 Amazon Gift card! Talk about EASY!
Building our audience socially isn’t our only focus this year. We’re also expanding our partnerships to accommodate our increased demand. As such, we’ll be looking to partner with local, independent contractors who are interested in residential contracting projects in (and around) the Triangle. Similarly, we’re looking to hire a few more skilled carpenters to help with our growing customer list. Look out, we may be calling you!
