Cameron, Owner

I’m originally from New City, New York.  My Mom, brothers, and I moved to North Carolina in 1994, and this has been my home ever since.

My first job, at the age of 11, was as a soccer referee and I very quickly understood the value and benefits of being a hard worker.  I started woodworking and working on houses at the same time.  I built my first piece of furniture, a computer desk, at age 13. Then, my first deck at age 16. I started working for a remodeling company at 17.The company specialized in high-end home remodeling, custom trim work, built-ins, additions, bathrooms, attics, basements, etc. During that time, I greatly expanded my skill set and love for carpentry.  After the company folded, I started my own company at age 20. Initially, clients were hard to find due to my age.  It took a lot of hard work and patience to build a pool of clients.

For over a decade now, Yates Remodeling has been helping homeowners realize their remodeling visions.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Ronna, our son, friends, family, and three dogs.

Jason, Carpenter

I was born in Baldwin Park, California. I moved to Raleigh with my father when I was a teenager. I then attended college for architecture.

I have been in construction for 30 years. From framing to finish carpentry, concrete and tiling... I have done it all. I've been working for Yates Remodeling for 6 years and I really enjoy seeing the finished product of our remodels. It truly brings new life to a space.

My favorite way to spend time outside of work is with my two beautiful girls, Riley, and Emily.

Jared, Carpenter

JB, Lead Carpenter

I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio and am excited to have moved to North Carolina.

When I was 16 I started building furniture and joined the remodeling industry when I was 18.   In my spare time I still like to build furniture, at least when I'm not doing Cross Fit.

My wife, Christine, and I are excited about our new lives in North Carolina.

Ellie, Operations Manager

I lived in North Carolina as a child when my dad was stationed at Camp Lejeune. Since then, I have lived up and down the East Coast and California.

When I was a little girl, I would watch This Old House and am a true junkie of all the HGTV and DIY shows.  For me, the best part of the job is helping clients find just the right faucet or light fixture that puts a special touch on their remodel and reflects their sense of style perfectly.

When I'm not binge watching HGTV or searching the web for the latest fixtures, I'm spending time with my husband and our two shelter dogs.  For fun, we like to hike, garden, and do anything else that will take us into the woods or by a lake.
